The Alpha course is both an Introduction to Christianity and a refresher course for those who would like to know more or who would like to explore with others the meaning of life from a Christian perspective. The evening begins with a meal and is followed by a video, which is discussed in small groups.  Laughter and animated discussions are commonplace in the small groups, as participants share their points of view.  Course begins Thursday, Sept. 17^th, at 6:30 with a “Come-and-See” evening. Our Father’s Plan is a video series on the bible hosted by Scott Hahn and Jeff Cavins.  This Catholic study looks at the bible from two points of view: one is the history of salvation and the other is an in-depth look at the meaning of our covenant with God.  If you have ever wanted to read the bible but have found it too difficult, this is the course for you!  The course begins mid-September at a variety of different times.  Call Nancy at 905-634-6739 to register.

These 4 talks are live presentations on the topic of Bioethics by MOIRA MCQUEEN. Moira does the series from a Catholic perspective, in an easy to understand way.  She helps us work our way through issues, some of which are age-old, and some springing from new technology. She hopes to also to draw out our questions so that our real life situations/issues are addressed. Moira is the Director of the Canadian Catholic Bioethics Institute.  Each of the 4 sessions stands on its own and each are $15 per person.  The presentations will be held on 4 consecutive Mondays at 7:30 pm beginning  October 19th until November 9th.
