Social Events Committee

Our worshipping community gathers each Sunday (and Saturday evening) to pray together and celebrate Eucharist.  After the liturgies, many linger to catch up with each other and enjoy a laugh or share a sorrow.  Many families and friends go out to brunch afterwards, to continue the shared moments of Eucharist.  In our business, we cling to these times of enrichment.

The Social committee was formed to initiate planned gatherings outside our common prayer so that we can spend more quality time with each other and celebrate our fellowship.   The committee is not meant  so much to organize each event, but rather to “start the ball rolling” by planning dates for regular activities and assigning those various social activities to parties willing to organize and follow through. At present the social committee’s main objective is to prepare for our 50th parish anniversary.

If you’re the type of person who enjoys being on a team to prepare for such events, please contact our parish.
